How to vote

Official state registration and status tools. Look up a ZIP first so this page matches your state.

Are you registered?

  1. Type your ZIP, then click Check registration. That opens your state’s Secretary of State site.
  2. Fill in your information there — only once, on their page.
  3. Capture the page: on Windows press Print Screen or Windows + Shift + S. A box may appear. Click and drag around your name, precinct, and status. Choose Save, or press Ctrl + C to copy.
  4. On a Mac press Command + Shift + 4, drag a box around the same information, then copy it.
  5. Come back to this Voter Kit tab. Click Paste.

Register or update

United States runs its own voter roll. Use the official checker, then the official registration form. Deadlines are not the same in every state.

Eligibility and ID

United States sets its own eligibility, ID, and mail-ballot rules. A Texas TEAM screenshot still works from the upload above, even if this session is not Texas.
